Hey there! My name is Julie. I am currently a freshman at the University of New Mexico. I have one sister that is pretty much my twin even though we are three years apart. She is one of my best friends! I am originally form Gallup, New Mexico. I graduated from Gallup High School as part of the top 2% of my class. I was a captain of the 2010 state champions Bengal Girls Dance team, and president of our National Honor Society chapter my senior year. I love to travel and see the world. The picture above is from my recent trip to Europe with my school. I love to dance, read, hang out with friends, and just have a good time. Right now I am interested in majoring in nursing, but that could always change. :) The class I am writing this blog for is a Freshman Learning Community, otherwise known as an FLC. We have two classes linked together with a small amount of students. The two linked courses I have are English 101 and Microbes: Friends or Foes. The small classes has really helped grasp the concepts of the classes and made it easier to make friends. I hope you enjoy the blog!
